Peel Park (which is named after Sir Robert Peel) has been used in the past as the venue for Bradford's annual Mela (although this event has recently moved to City Park and also travelling circuses such as Circus Starr (a fundraising circus offering free seats for disabled and disadvantaged children in the area).
