The Ribble Valley

Downstream of Settle (and what is known as Ribblesdale) the Ribble Valley cuts between the dark mass of Pendle Hill and Pendle Witch Country to the south, and the uplands and moors of Bowland to the north.

Places in the valley include Clitheroe, and Gisburn.
