The Colne Valley

The Colne Valley is a deep pennine valley to the west of Huddersfield in the Kirklees area of West Yorkshire. Villages and towns in the valley include Marsden, Slaithwaite, Golcar, and of course the western side of Huddersfield.

At the head of the valley is Tunnel End and the eastern reaches of Saddleworth Moor. The Peak District is also within easy reach to the south.
