Batley

Made famous in the 1970s by the Batley Variety Club (a local nightclub which somehow managed to attract international stars, such as Shirley Bassey), Batley is an industrial town in the Kirklees district of West Yorkshire's Bronte Country.

Bronte related attractions in the area include Oakwell Hall, and Red House in nearby Gomersal.
