Ted Hughes
The poet Ted Hughes was born in Mytholmroyd - a small Pennine town not far from Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire's Bronte Country .
In 1956 Ted Hughes married Sylvia Plath, who committed suicide just seven years later and is buried in the churchyard at nearby Heptonstall.
