Details of cycling "day of action" announced

Details of a special cycling themed "day of action" to be held on Friday 22nd September 2017 have been announced.

The Bradford Capital of Cycling group are hosting the event, which will take place in the centre of Bradford and is planned to include bike stripping, a public "fix and learn" workshop, a barbecue and an evening talk from local cycling icon and round the world cyclist Imran Mughal - who spent 15 months cycling 25,000 miles through 33 countries after being made redundant, surviving terrifying ordeal at gunpoint in Bosnia, deadly spiders in the Australian outback and 53-degree heat in the Oman desert besides cycling through monsoons in Indonesia!

There will also be a screening of the film "Bikes vs. Cars" a documentary which explains the environmental impact of cars and the alternative transport solutions offered by cycling.
