Details of Starlight Hike announced
Organisers of the Manorlands Hospice Starlight Hike are getting ready to put on an event walkers will never forget.
The 10km night time walk is taking place on the 8th of September 2012 and is starting and finishing at Haworth Park. The walk is set to be full of surprises and great entertainment including local Keighley band "Audio Test Pilots" who are known for their great repertoire of cover songs playing at venues throughout the UK. There will also be an instant photo booth where groups can get photos and key rings as mementos of the night and a fire juggler will be making an appearance on route !
Richard Martin, fundraiser at Manorlands Hospice said “We have planned an amazing evening full of entertainment and special moments for all the walkers. The route will be lined with various entertainment including acoustic music from local musicians. The halfway mark is significant as participants will walk through the grounds of Manorlands which will be lit with candles. We are aiming to raise as much money as possible for Manorlands and at the same time provide a brilliant evening for all walkers.”
