Hollingworth Lake
Hollingworth Lake is a pleasant man made lake near Littleborough on the edge of the Manchester conurbation in the East Lancashire Pennines.
Originally constructed during the industrial revolution to feed the nearby Rochdale Canal, the lake is also now used for various recreational activities, including sailing etc.
