Dewsbury Minster
Dewsbury Minster is the parish church of Dewsbury, which is also known as the Minster Church of All Saints.
Patrick Bronte held his first appointment here from 1809 before moving on to St Peter's Church in nearby Hartshead in 1811.
Much of the the minster was modified or rebuilt in the 1880s and 1890s, but the original tower (as is the case with Haworth church) from the time of Patrick Bronte remains.
Bronte Country is designed, maintained and promoted by Eagle Intermedia Publishing Ltd.
