Sue Ryder announces "Ride Le Route" charity fundraising cycling event

Sue Ryder is pleased to be in partnership with Sky Ride and, British Cycling and Bradford Council to bring to you a special "Ride Le Route" event in the Bradford district.
The 40 mile challenge ride takes place on Sunday 11th August 2013, starting and finishing in the city of Bradford.
The ride is aimed at intermediate cyclists who are looking for a new challenge. Riders can experience part of the route of the 2014 Tour de France Grand Départ through Bronte Country, raise some money for Sue Ryder and still be part of the Bradford Sky Ride.
There are two Sue Ryder hospices near the route: Manorlands at Oxenhope near Keighley and Wheatfields in Leeds.
Carly Brunskill, Regional Fundraiser for Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, said: “This is a great opportunity to get involved with a large cycling event as well as experience a part of the 2014 Tour de France route whilst supporting Sue Ryder. We are pleased to be working with British Cycling and Sky ride and we hope our supporters will come on board to take part in this new and exciting event.”
Dan Goodey from British Cycling said: "We are very excited about the Tour de France coming to Yorkshire and Ride le Route is a great opportunity to ride the roads that the professionals will use in 2014. Ride le Route adds an exciting new element to the Bradford Sky Ride and we are delighted to be working with Sue Ryder to give people the chance to raise some money for the Charity.”
