The St. Ives Estate
St. Ives is a heavily wooded country estate between Bingley, Harden and Keighley which is famous as being the home of the Sports Turf Research Institute.
Attractions on the estate include the Coppice Pond, the Fairy Bridge, Lady Blantyre's Rock, the Fairfax Entrenchment (which was a defensive position maintained in the English Civil War), and the Druid's Altar.
A horse riding centre is based within the grounds, and archery is also practiced in a specially cordoned off range adjacent to the Coppice Pond.
Bronte Country is designed, maintained and promoted by Eagle Intermedia Publishing Ltd.
