Tour de Yorkshire in Haorth

On Sunday 6th May 2018 the fourth and final stage of the fourth "Tour de Yorkshire" saw international cycle racing return once again to the Bronte Country area.

Starting out this time from the recently refurbished Piece Hall in Halifax the route took in Hebden Bridge, Haworth and Keighley in glorious sunshine in scenes reminiscent of the Grand Depart of the Tour de France in 2014 (which followed a similar - but not quite identical - route in reverse through the Bronte Country area).

From Keighley the peloton travelled northwards to Skipton and on in to the Yorkshire Dales before ending the day's racing (and the extended four day event) in Leeds.

Large crowds turned out to line the route and cheer on the cyclists in what was yet another great event for Yorkshire and the Bronte Country area.
